About the Author
Dee Atkins-Greig started her forecasting career in the Royal Navy, followed by 5 years for BBC South on TV and local radio as their weather presenter. She has also taught maths at a secondary school and at the Met Office college, and taught meteorology at Warsash Maritime Academy (Solent University). She is currently an online maths and meteorology tutor.
