  • About the Author

    Udi Gal is a World and European Champion, and two-time Olympic sailor (2004 and 2008), who has won over 20 medals across his career. He has been racing since the age of 13, and was coach to Team USA?s women?s sailing team in the 2012 Olympics, and the Israeli men?s sailing team in the 2016 Olympics. He was also the chairman of the Israeli Olympic Athlete Committee. A trained sports psychologist, he is currently a sail racing coach based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mason Stang is one of Udi Gal?s success stories. Coached by Udi since his teens, Mason was sought after by and now competes for Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, one of the longest established and most successful sailing teams in the United States.
