About the Author
Iyer Rukmini was born in Cambridgeshire, read English Literature at Edinburgh University, after which she moved to London to study law. Whilst working as a trainee solicitor, Iyer realised cooking was her true passion and went onto retrain as a chef. She worked for Tom Kitchin at The Kitchen and was in the final seven of MasterChef in 2013. Iyer is the author of several bestselling cookbooks, including the hugely popular Roasting Tin series, based on the ethos of cooking delicious, healthy and quick one-tin mid-week meals, with minimal washing up.
